Missionaries

Vika
Vika is a graduate
from Ukrainian Theological Evangelical Seminary. The Least of These
gave Vika a scholarship to attend a one-year music course at UTES.
Upon graduation, Vika will become a full-time missionary with The Least of
These in the Kerch area. Vika has ministered for approximately two
years with The Least of These in April, summer, and November outreaches.
In 2006b Vika lead teams to Camp Mama' in the Kerch area and in the
Belogorsk Region. Vika's Testimony
All the time I
am amazed of what God is doing in my life by His great merciful hand. I
am a student of Ukrainian Evangelical Theological Seminary for the
fourth year and can say with confidence that these years gave me a birth
of ministry skills and of spiritual growth in walking with God. A big
gift in 2005 for me was the introduction to the mission of The Least of
These, and since then I have not been indifferent to non of the trips to
the children of Crimea. Particularly in 2005 for the first time I was on
the trip to Kerch, to Belogorsk region and Sevastopol. I especially
liked to participate in puppet theater, sing songs with children and
just share love with them. For kids it was a wonderful time. It was
clearly seen in their eyes since they were sparkling. A special moment
in these programs for me was the opportunity to fellowship more with
children.

Besides
showing the program I could learn more about their life, tell them
more about Jesus and people who believed in him. I felt pleasure to
minister to these children who with wide open eyes listened closely
to stories from the Bible, although it was a time for swimming in
the see. Often I recall those eyes full of tears that really wanted
changes in life and believed that God is able to do that. There are
still prayer needs, but every following trip children being to
believe more that God can do all things. Besides summer trips I was
on the trips in fall and spring as well. But special trip for me was
in the summer of 2006 when I was responsible for a small team and
programs. |

This
children's ministry have deeply touched my heart and I can not
imagine myself without it. Since it is now a part of my life some
time I say that my heart is in Crimea because it just longs to go
there. In the spring of 2006 God had shown me what is he calling me
to – it is something what I was praying for a long time, what I
dreamt of and carried in my heart. God had called me to minister to
children. |

Right now I
am still in the Seminary, I study to be a musician which will be
very necessary to m in this ministry. I have correspondence with
some of the children, send them Bible crosswords and Bible studies.
I am very glad that at least in writing I can answer to their
questions and support in prayer, show them my love and love of God
that covers everything. Next following years I want to minister in
Crimea, in the place where is part of my heart, where the hearts of
children are who want to know more of God and I want to help then in
this. Thank you for your support and open hearts! I always thank God
for always leading me, blessing me and being close to me. Thank you
all! |
