I was raised in a minister’s home.  Both my mother and father were dedicated Christians who believed they were put on this earth for no other reason than to promote Jesus Christ.  As early as I can remember my mother would quote Ecclesiastes 9:10 to me “Whatever your hand finds to do, do with all your might.”  “That is ministry” she would say “and that is what it means to serve the Lord.” 

That understanding took and I am sure it is the philosophy which drew me to The Least of These. I love to partner with people who are simply doing whatever they can find to do for Jesus.  It thrills my heart to work with Christians who dedicate themselves to serving others and reaching the lost.

I am a professional minister. I met and married my wife Debbie in Bible College.     

We both graduated in 1982 and entered our first Senior Pastorate. Together we have served God in ministry doing whatever our hands found to do. We now have been pastoring Toledo Foursquare Church (our second church) for the past twelve years. We are its founding pastors.

My wife Debbie and I have two children.  Our daughter Ashly is 20 years old and married.  Our daughter Charli is 3 years old and single.  Yes we have a three year old that was not a typo.  We are having our own grandchildren.  Charli is an inspiration, when I went to Ukraine last November she told her mother that I could bring back three little girls and she would share all her toys since they didn’t have a mommy or daddy.  Already she is thinking of what she can do for Jesus.

Well that is my story in a nutshell. I would, however, like to tell you a little about my qualifications and credentials. I am an advanced certified human behavior consultant. I have a Bachelor’s degree in pastoral ministries. I am an ordained minister with the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel. By this time next year I will have earned a Master’s degree in Counseling and one in Psychology as well. 

I was also the class clown in school.  Nothing has changed, I am an incurable nut, and I am laughing all the way to heaven.  My mother was a child evangelist and puppeteer.  We do a lot of kids’ events around our church including a street outreach in the summer, at which I get to put on a puppet show.  I believe with all my heart that Jesus loves people, all people and wants us to love them as well.
