SUMMER OUTREACHES KERCH 2007

God is so faithful!!!! We left Kiev with a team of 29 people. When we arrived in Kerch we added two more team members. This is a great story. Vadim is 16 years old, an orphan from Alexander's Orphanage in Kerch. He came to the Lord at one of our outreaches about two years ago. He was a team member with us last summer, in November 06, April 07, and now this summer. Vadim will be with The Least of These the next three weeks.

He gave his testimony at a program at Camp Hope with over 100 children present, some from the orphanage he is from. Many raised their hand to except Jesus as their Lord and Savior. We hope he will be able to attended Kiev Bible School.

Vadim

The second added team member is soon to be on her way to Colorado to be with her adoptive parents Jim and Linda. This is a two year long story of many heartaches and problems with her Ukrainian paper work. If all goes as planned she will be able to go to America in March or April of 2008. Tanya gave her testimony at team devotion time. She said that God is FAITHFUL. What a brave young girl. Tanya is a hard working team member who has a true servant's heart.

Tanya

This has been an interesting two weeks. The main camp that houses the children from Kerch was closed this summer to the orphans. The children were sent to three different camps. About 120 kids were sent to a camp 5 hours away. This is a camp we had never been to before. Vitalik and Marina lead a team of 17 people to this new camp.  Again God was faithful!!! We had never met this Director and she amazingly let us have a two week program at her camp. Both children and staff have come to know Jesus.  This is a miracle. Oh yes, this is the first all Ukrainian team. PTL

Back in Kerch, Vika lead a team to MaMa. and Valera and Oksana lead the team to the Kindergarten and Camp Hope. God is changing lives.

NEWS ALERT!!!  Joe and Ruth Ann Stratman had their court date Thursday the 6th of July. Slavic and Nastia are now Stratman's. We have ministered to Nastia for several years as she waited for her adoptive parents to return for her. Her younger brother and sister were adopted by Joe and Ruth Ann earlier. What a wonderful gift from God to be a part of such a special day.

Thank you for your prayers and support. None of this incredible work in Ukraine would be possible without you. Please continue to pray for the next three outreaches.

Sherrel and I have been humbled by His many blessings poured out on this team. It is so awesome to watch the lives of the orphans, staff and team members changed for eternity. Thank you Lord Jesus!!!!!

In His service,

Rich
